Mark an item as SPAM after opening it

Sometimes mail looks official on the outside, but when you open it you discover it is spam.

Currently you can't mark an item as spam once it has been opened.

It would be nice to be able to mark an item as spam after you've opened it, and have future mailings from that sender be marked as likely spam.

Hi Jordan,

Once we have done the work with regards to opening and scanning an item, that work needs to count towards the customer limits. Marking it as spam after the fact would serve no purpose really.


What if that sender keeps sending me junk mail? It would be nice if the system could learn that the sender is a junk mailer.

I understand that once opened it's already counted toward my limits, that's not an issue.


Agreed! Right now it up to us to remember who sends SPAM in sheep's clothing. It would be a great enhancement if the system could remember it for us.


As I understand it, new mail can be labeled as "junk" and the system remembers the sender, keeping future mail from that sender from entering your inbox, and any mail that is caught before it enters your inbox is not counted against your totals. (am I correct?). It seems an easy fix to add the "junk" label to opened and scanned mail, same system remembers the sender, only difference is that the opened piece is counted against your total...sounds like a more than fair trade to me!
